Black Veil Brides // 02 Academy (Glasgow) : 25 January 2018

As Black Veil Brides and Asking Alexandria do an American and European co-headline tour, I managed to catch them in Glasgow, Scotland with support from To The Rats and Wolves on the 25th of January 2018. As a result of this I decided to review the show and say my thoughts on all three bands and the set that they produced. The first band on the bill was To The Rats and Wolves  which the audience did not know of. This made for an amazing opening act who managed to get the crowd jumping around and having an amazing time and joining in with the band singing along, clapping and dancing by having a very party atmosphere about them. With great clean and unclean vocals it was easy to make out what the band was singing about and made the audience know more about the band as a whole. As the first time they have ever been in the United Kingdom, I feel this band is one that will have a large following when they come back and are a band you do not want to miss live!! Hollywood Undead // 02 Academy (Glasgow): 24 January 2018

Hollywood Undead came back to the United Kingdom this month with their own headline tour with support from The One Hundred  from London, England. We managed to see them in Glasgow on the first night of the tour (24th January 2018) and are happy to share our thoughts on the show. The One Hundred  as the only support act for the show was first to go on the stage, with many people not knowing who they were it was difficult to warm up the crowd. However, this did not stop them from having fun on stage and dancing about and seeming to be in their own bubble. With the crowd not sure what to make of them they continued by playing songs from their new album as well as some of their older music. It was difficult to really know what to think of their set as they played fast jumpy songs then slow songs every once in a while making the set sort of jumpy instead of as smooth as it could have been. However, this was a great opening act which is a band that we should all be keeping an eye on. N

Escape the Fate// Garage (Glasgow): 20 January 2018

On the 20th of January Escape The Fate came back to Glasgow, Scotland on their headline tour with support from Set To Stun and Shields to play at the Garage thanks to Triple G Music. Here is what we thought of all of the bands who performed. First to grace the stage was Shields , a metal band from London, England. With being the first band on and not many people in the room at the moment they did not let this effect their live performance at all. Playing all originals that not many of the audience knew they had enough energy and a good flow between all of the songs that they were performing that people were still engaged with the performance. With also thanking everyone who came down early to catch their set and exciting the crowd about the other bands coming on after them they are a very humble band which is a very pleasing thing to see on the stage. As the end of their set came you could hear the people in the audience saying that they liked Shields and were a band they had to

Shattered Horizons // Opium (Edinburgh): 14th January 2018

On the second sunday of January Shattered Horizons, Bearers of the Divide, Islasorna, Artificial Pathogen and Grievance played a show at Opium in Edinburgh. Although not a nice day outside which did effect the size of the crowd the bands all gave it their all and this is what we thought of all of the bands who played the show thanks to Empathy Promotions. The first band on the stage was Grievance a metalcore/ deathcore band hailing from Dundee, Scotland. This was the first time the band had played a show in Edinburgh and a band in which the audience didn't know. However, the band did not let this stop them and brought a lot of energy to their set with heavy songs as well as breakdowns which fitted the vocalist as well as the band themselves which showed a lot of potential for the band to grow into a band that could have a lot of success. I look forward to seeing what is next for them and are a band I will now be looking forward to hearing more about. Next on the stage was A
